Customer Comments

"The Creative Urges did a outstanding job tailoring their performance to our audience of safety professionals attending the annual NAVOSH Professional Development Conference. Those who attended were delighted by the variety of skits and the extraordinary diversity and talent of the troupe. We especially enjoyed the skit they developed just for us: 'Superman and OSHA guy.'  We look forward to a repeat performance when we return to San Diego."

"The Creative Urges did a wonderful job of choosing formats that were appropriate for a business audience and that would be instantly appealing to someone without improv experience. Moreover, prior to the meeting they had collected information about the nature of our meeting, the key players, and some of the events of our meeting day, and worked these bits into the performance.  Our tired and hungry audience loved it!

The show gave us all a chance to laugh together, and that went a long way toward smoothing over some of the tensions and stresses of the day and toward bringing everyone a little closer together.  Since the show was based on suggestions from the audience, it gave us a chance to make a few unthreatening jabs at our colleagues in a spirit of good fun.  The next day, our meeting participants were clearly in a better mood, more willing to work together cooperatively, and more collegial.  The show was the main topic of discussion during the breaks ("do you remember when...?") and there was a lot more laughter during the breaks.  I can't say for sure that the Urges were responsible for the improved spirits and working conditions the next day, but it is certainly an experiment that I'd be happy to repeat."
